No, son. Not at an 80 year old birthday party. The last thing we need is a broken hip. This weekend we traveled to Kentucky to celebrate my Papaw's birthday. We got to visit with a lot of family that we haven't seen in double-digit years. For the boys, I must say it was a little disappointing because when you say "party" they think balloons, party favors, so much fun you can't stand it, and yes, jumphouses.

Papaw got a lot of help blowing out the candles from his great-grandsons.

This is dad with his dad, my papaw.

Me and my lovely sister with the birthday boy.

Here is actually what goes on at an 80 year old birthday party............ the chugging of kool-aid koolers. And well, Cornhole..........but for everyone's sake I'm not posting pictures. :) ( You can thank me for that later, Chris.)

Rhett made a new buddy with his cousing Broady who is one month older than he is. It was nice to have someone his own size to play with.

I always have a great time chatting and catching up with my sister. We had some good laughs and the boys cherish the time they spend with her. Hotel night #2 for Tracie and Chris included two little extras squeezed into their bed. The boys thought it was the greatest thing ever. (So did Bobby and I!)

Finally, the elusive Chris gets a pic on the blog. I picked the good one so as not to disappoint!

Grant, out by the barn. This is before his nice shirt got filthy. I knew it was going to happen but still wanted him to be presentable for at least the first 30 minutes.

Well, check this one off the list. We traveled the long haul, partied hard, stayed up late, ate off of our schedule and are still living to blog about it!!
