So, Bobby and I decided to host an Eighties Murder Mystery Party this weekend. It turned out to be quite a time! Every person invited had a character to portray and halfway through the party someone, like, totally got killed! Bobby was Peter Pinkman, a ghostbuster with a problem I won't discuss on this forum, and I was Samantha Pinkman who, unfortunately, was found out to be the killer at the end of the night!

I was laughing so hard as everyone was arriving that I got a stitch in my side and my cheeks were killing me. Gladonna, Mr. P, Talex Towens and Shaggy-Goo Oxide all rolled in at the same time.

Even famed rockers Jeven Rearcie and Patty Plane showed up.

Here's the best shot I got of the guys. Unfortunately my camera was on the fritz and non of my pictures turned out great. Today, the poor girl is completely dead so I don't know what I'm going to do to recover from this travesty. My camera, as most of you know, is like an additional appendage to me.

The girls.

We were so happy to have a visit from the vintage Tammy Faye Bakker. She did cry the whole night though and that was a drag.

We topped off the night with a little "80's Couple Idol". I think these folks took the cake with their redition of "You Can't Touch This". I haven't seen the MC Hammer dance in quite some time.

I just know Bobby and I were a close second singing our tribute to Patrick Swayze with "I've Had the Time of My Life". I totally belted it and I'm sure A'lyce, who is the co-director of Pre-School Choir at church, is going to rally for my immediate dismissal as kindergarten choir teacher. We had a great time and loved hosting. Thanks for re-living the 80's with us and I'm sorry I killed you, Jonathan.
