Thank you Donut Shop for helping that little booger get out of there! And, thanks Tooth Fairy for the 4 quarters!
Years fly by and this: First to come and first to go!
Cade really had a good game. He had a couple nice hits off the tee and fielded several balls.
Couple throws back to the coach. I just kind of liked this picture. By the way.......Has anyone seen Rhett?? I've been too busy taking pictures to keep up with him.......
Oh, good. There he is. At least he's safe. That's all that matters...................

I took him into the bathroom, put him on the stool to brush his teeth and that is when he looked at himself in the mirror and stated, and I quote, "I look like a stupid, baby farmer." I nearly lost it but kept my serious face long enough to reprimand him for using the cuss word "stupid". He's picked it up somewhere because he also used it this week at my parent's church when they tried to drop him off at the church's childcare, "This is stupid. There's nothing but babies in there" with arms crossed across his chest. I'm telling you. He is convinced that he is at least five years old. Anyway, I finally got him into the car with a piece of gum and off to church. As I was carrying him to his class he grabbed my face with both his hands and said, "You know? You didn't HAVE to dress me like a farmer today............" What gives?! Can't we just be happy we were wearing clothes at all?????
He has been practicing the basics of the game such as the "hey, girl. Check out my mane when I jump and spin" move among other things.
He got a great little hit his first at bat. You can't really tell in the picture but he insisted on wearing batting gloves that were at least 2 sizes too big. It kind of reminds me of the time that I convinced my mother that I had to have a purple elastic knee stablilizer to play on the middle school basketball team. I had not suffered any type of knee injury but I had noticed that an 8th grade starter had one and was pretty sure it was my ticket to coolness. She fell for it and I wore it. Wore it well, too.

I have a feeling I'll be spending a lot of time at the ball fields with this character.
