Grant was up at 5:45 this morning because the thoughts of his spend-the-night- birthday party were inhibiting his sleep. His teacher informed me that he was high on excitement the entire day. I only had to hear "are my friends coming yet??" approximately 80 times between the hours of 3 and 5pm.
Lucky for me, 5pm finally rolled around and after a few rings of the doorbell all the party players were present and the fun began! First stop: pizza eating and an impromptu spelling contest. After a brief conversation lull, one bud piped up with "Does everybody know that I can spell railroad?" That just gave me a giggle....
I wrangled the boys for a moment of present opening but couldn't contain them long enough to sing Happy Birthday or even eat cake for that matter. It was fine with me being that they were all ready dosed up on sugar from their Valentine parties at school.
Wrestle Mania will always be one of the boys' favorite memories I'm sure. This buddy's mom said that's all he talked about when he got home and she had no idea what it was!

1. I know who the railroad speller was... but the real question is... did he get it right?
2. My boys love Wrestlemania too. As they get bigger, Mr. Bobby is going to have to come up with some skillz to ward them off since right now they are all used to jumping on at once.
3. Why is he the only one feeling like he is supposed to perch on the bed frame?
4. I am sorry you had to used your serious Sonja face with my child who no doubt was bossing everyone else around and keeping them up.
5. He loved it... and considers the sleepover a yearly tradition! THANK YOU!
Oh, you also need to know that Callan went to Blockbuster with Brent on Saturday afternoon to get a movie and he picked "Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs" because he had never seen it before. =)
You didn't get in on the wreslte mania action? Haha! That's definitely a daddy's job. Love it!
