We spent the better part of our time in Maui just sitting here in big covered chairs watching the ocean. Why would you ever want to leave this view? Plus someone was coming around with water and cool towels for our faces so really, why would you ever, ever want to leave?? If we didn't have kids at home or jobs I'm pretty sure we'd be sitting right here until kingdom come.
We did rise from our duffs to take a hike or two and it was well worth the time. Just ever so slightly strenuous but not exhausting and the scenery made it all worth it.
This is Sweetheart Rock. The color of the water here was un.be.lievable.
This was back on the golf course side of the island but these pictures are out of order so I'm just going to roll with it:)
The view from one of Bobby's favorite holes on the course.
The hike on this side of the island ended at the golf course and there wasn't a soul to be seen golfing there. We had a little fun doing cartwheels and such:)
Back to earlier on the Sweetheart Rock trail:
Bobby went very close to the edge but my heart started beating too fast for my liking and I suddenly had a terrible fear of falling into the water below and leaving my children with no mother so I stayed back....far, far back. And I begged Bobby to please back away. He ignored me.
I did do a handstand there. Handstand in Hawaii. Boo Yah!
Another great day on the island! (It's hard to have a bad one!)
